The Sand Creek Massacre - At Sand Creek on November 29, 1864, Colonel John Chivington led the Colorado Volunteers in a dawn attack on the Cheyenne

I have several videos from Bluff Lake Nature Center where I walk everyday that encompasses a portion of Sand Creek although not the site of the massacre.

This area was an emergency crash zone designated by the F!! that every aiport have one, so it was off limits for years until Stapleton Airport closed. They tried to open it to the public but there was so much contamination form runway runoff, split fuel, airplane deicer, Green Peace stepped in to help clean it up.
Yet still this is where water from the streets runs off to and along with it all sorts of debris which most dissolves fairly quickly.
Even though they have teams of volunteer children come pick things out of here it is still a wasteland of little bits and pieces of plastic.
Come with me where most people to do not tread
