State Patrol contacts more than 30,000 motorists during holiday weekend

The State Patrol said it issued 3,033 seat-belt citations and 6,651 speeding tickets, and pulled over 30,045 vehicles.

The house calls are part of the Colorado State Patrol's effort to curb aggressive driving. The program allows drivers to call a state patrol hot line to report people who are driving aggressively.

Drivers with three complaints or more against them get warning letters, which have always been sent by mail, until now.
