From 1948 to 1950, he went to the United States on a scholarship to study its educational system, studying for several months at Colorado State College of Education (now the University of Northern Colorado) in Greeley, Colorado.
I remember one article talking about how he hated the people on Greeley because of how they wasted time, money and resources on having green lawns
