On 10/7/09 I posted this question on my blog, http://whitecollargreenspace.blogspot.com/

Is it possible that those individuals and groups that oppose universal health coverage are worse than the Nazi’s?

As many as 80 million Americans are uninsured or underinsured, which means they have little access to a regular physician, checkups, preventive services, affordable prescription drugs, dental care or screening tests.
Up to 100,000 lives could be saved if the country’s health-care system performed as well those in nations such as France, Japan and Australia, according to the Commonwealth Fund study, which was based on World Health Organization statistics.
After the horrors of the Holocaust were known, All of us swore that we would never standby and let it happen again. However with 100,000 people dying each year because they are under-insured, Americans will see 8 million individuals die during their lifetimes. More than the Holocaust.
American life expectancy is about 80 years.
Since 1945, the most commonly cited figure for the total number of Jews killed during the Holocaust has been six million.

I am not against Universal Healthcare, this country is long over due. But only if it is done correctly which is going to me almost impossible to do in our corporate greed driven economy. The insurance companies took part in drafting the different bill alternatives and they also were the largest contributors to Obamas campaign. The same companies that already got trillions in the bailout bills.
One needs to only look back at before the mandatory insurance laws were passed to see that there are unseen problems that arise out of these type legislations.
Not only did insurance rates go up, reimbursement coverage actually went down.
The homeless problem shot up because as long as you had a vehicle you had a heated shelter survive. All you needed was a few dollars for gasoline and few dollars for food.
What is going to happen to car insurance when there is universal healthcare so no one insurance companies no longer need to carry hospitalization?

It's unfortunate that Noam resorted to The Goodwins Law analogy but in theory he is correct. They out right tell blatant lies while at least the other networks try to be more subtle.
The CIA and other organization infiltrated the media long ago, all one has to do is google around for it, or I have covered it in my 13 years of webpage links(although a couple years are no longer accessible)
But your concept is good but as with all things, what looks good on paper does not always transfer into the real world.
