Arrest warrant issued for Greek journalist who published list of Greek nationals holding Swiss accounts, including the Speaker of the Greek Parliament.

Mr. Vaxevanis, one of Greece’s most famous investigative journalists, said he was being wrongly targeted. “Instead of arresting the tax evaders and the ministers who had the list in their hands, they are trying to arrest the truth and free journalism,” he said in a telephone interview that was uploaded on the Internet and widely circulated.

The World Health Organization is considering a global excise tax of up to 70 percent on cigarettes at an upcoming November conference, raising concerns among free market tax policy analysts about fiscal sovereignty and bureaucratic mission creep.

They wanted to use global warming as an excuse to start the Carbon Tax, but they are having trouble getting in place. As soon as they can get one global tax to be accepted, it will open the door for consolidation of a global government.
