Winters Bone

I lived there for 30 years. Never had a cougar sighting. There were hardly any deer back then. It's because back then everybody hunted trapped and we decimated the wildlife. Now it has become a different type of people that live around there that would not know the first thing about living in the woods and the deer population has flourished giving the cougars a food source.

The Sand Creek Massacre - At Sand Creek on November 29, 1864, Colonel John Chivington led the Colorado Volunteers in a dawn attack on the Cheyenne

This area was an emergency crash zone designated by the F!! that every aiport have one, so it was off limits for years until Stapleton Airport closed. They tried to open it to the public but there was so much contamination form runway runoff, split fuel, airplane deicer, Green Peace stepped in to help clean it up.
Yet still this is where water from the streets runs off to and along with it all sorts of debris which most dissolves fairly quickly.
Even though they have teams of volunteer children come pick things out of here it is still a wasteland of little bits and pieces of plastic.

Lab test Results: Gulf seafood petroleum residue levels double what FDA says acceptable
WFTV put gulf shrimp to the test by ordering raw shrimp over the Internet and shipping it to a private lab. Scientists liquefied the shrimp and put it through the most sensitive testing possible, looking for any signs of petroleum residue. Scientists found elevated levels of Anthracene, a toxic hydrocarbon and a by-product of petroleum.
The Anthracene levels were double what the FDA finds to be acceptable.
