Ted says about himself, "I laid in bed at night thinking about which of my ranches I was going to sell first and which of my paintings in my art collection if the situation kept going.”

Photo Suggests Pilot in Deadly Reno Air Crash Had Broken Seat, Aviation Mechanic Says

I more inclined to think that maybe the fact the pilot was "76 years old" had more to do with it. Most people that old shouldn't even be driving a car.

Speaking of old people, here is my 90 year old father on his forklift, hehe

Weston Bend State Park | Missouri State Parks

An old part of the Lewis and Clark expedition. This is almost like being down in the Ozarks.
They have built a wooden patio overlook you can go to, and right there is a trail goes off along the bluff. About sixty feet below is the train tracks that run along the Missouri River.
About 1/4 mile down that trail there is a clearing right before the Weston Bend of the river.
As we stood there watching the river and the occasional train, there were 6-7 hawks soaring right there in front of us.
It was spectacular. An unforgettable moment.

And like a big dummy,,, I forgot my camera that day which I always, always make a point of having with me at all times(head slap)

And if you go there, you have got to go to Weston Brewing Company & O'Malley's Pub which is located some 50 ft underground in an old lager fermenting cave.

Al-Qaeda, otherwise known as the Libyan rebel army, is being given its own seat on the UN

Incredible. They used them to get us to fund their wars and invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. Then funded them to overthrow Libya, and now giving them a seat at the UN?

How stupid are the American people? Go back to sleep slave.

Ron Paul’s Campaign Manager Died of Pneumonia, Penniless and Uninsured

Here is MEFIs thread on the issue

AND, here is what happened to me

I had pins and screws in my hip from a severe automobile accident in 1977.
I guess I was supposed to have them removed but I was so young at the time it happened and it was such a tragic event, and since I had no problems with them, AND I only had sporadic healthcare over the twenty years, I never thought to have them removed.
In 1996 I started having pains in my hip and I went to a city hospital that accepted indigent patients. They gave me pain pills and sent me home.
The pain continued and was slowly getting worse and I kept returning to the hospital and they continued to give me more pain pills and even started giving me other drugs, I remember Ativan being one of those pills they prescribed.
After about thirty days, I was becoming delirious and bedridden. Then my face swelled up and my lip split open.
I went back to ER and when I woke up, about a week later, they had removed my hip and portions of my pelvic bone.
I had developed an infection where all this hardware was in my hip and it became the MRSA.
If I would have had insurance it is probable that the infection would have been detected before I underwent a series of operations that left me on disability after months in the hospital and almost a year in a long term care facility.
